I'm a Construction Engineer from the States (O&G), in Calgary for my Company for the next 2-3 years. So far I love the city and the people. Everyone is so friendly! I'd say that of all the places I've lived, Calgary is by far my favorite. Still getting used to the hockey though. Primarily a football fan.

Meet a guy from Canada. I have recently moved back to Canada after backpacking/working/living/gallivanting/meandering around the globe for the past 5 years. Some highlights of my trips???
- The white sand beaches of the Yasawa's in Fiji and learning how to scuba dive
-Possum hunting on the south island of New Zealand. And sky diving over the franz joseph glacier, winding its way through the tropical rainforest to the ocean.
-the food market on petaling street Kuala Lumpur at 3am
-Jerusalem the church of the holy sepulchre and the second time in Israel, Haifa, the Bahai temple
-Chile-working in the atacama desert
-Going down the yungas road (road of death) in Bolivia on a bike .... and funny enough, almost dying.
-Peru, the nazca lines and ... pisco????
-Ecuador... wow... what a country, been here 5 times. Cuenca.... is a gem... Quito, climbing on the cathedral roof is spetacular. And the people sooooo nice... and beautiful
-Panama, Ghana, Syria, ... the list goes on. If you want to know more, just ask!
I enjoy nothing more than a novel, or rocking out to music while cooking a meal. I enjoy the art of conversation, intellectual to the crude. I enjoy pushing my comfort levels. Comfort and convinience can cause a stagnation of the soul. You become jaded and the years slip by without you even realizing. Do something once a day that scares you or pushes you from your comfort level. Continue to grow and smile and love. I have a cyncial sort of humour and I enjoy people who can make jokes right back, and do not let life get to them.
