About me - I'm used to keeping to myself when there's not much going on.. I can be quite funny and goofy, so be prepared.. One thing I am not, and I know this will turn off a lot of women, is a camper. I'm sorry, but I am not a fan. Had a few bad experiences in my youth, so it has totally turned me off from it. I don't mind hikes, or quadding, or whatever.. But camping? No.

I'd like to start off by saying that I'm a Sergeant in the military, so if you have any reservations about dating someone in the military, I completely understand. There are quite a few pricks in the military, but I assure you that I am not one of them. You would probably be surprised when you find out what exactly I do for the military, but most of my day is spent in an office behind a desk and for the past month I've been working in Hawaii. I absolutely love my career choice, but I don't let it rule my life.
If you've made it past the opening paragraph and you're still reading, I may be in luck. :) I guess I'm looking for the same thing everyone else is looking for, someone that shares the same interests. I am a typical guy that enjoys playing sports and would love to find someone that is much the same and would like to play in mixed leagues with me, but that's not a deal breaker if you don't. I play baseball and softball in the summer months and just about any other sport the rest of the year. My softball team picked up playing dodge-ball last winter and everyone loved it. I enjoy going to live sporting events and it would be perfect if you enjoyed watching NFL on Sundays! ;)
If you made it past the sports paragraph and you're still reading, my chances are improving. I love traveling no matter if it's some far away place or just someplace close. My favorite country that I've visited has been Australia in 2008 and my favourite North American city to visit is San Francisco followed closely by New York, I've been to both on a number of occasions. I love visiting the mountains here in Alberta, but don't go nearly enough. I would love to go camping more, but most of my friends don't camp. I love random road trips too. In September I went on a road trip with one of my closest friends to see all the "big" things in Alberta and it was fantastic! :)
If you don't think I'm crazy for taking a road trip to see all the "big" things in Alberta and are still reading, odds are improving that you're the girl for me. I enjoy watching movies in the theater and especially enjoy Rom-Coms.
If you know what a Rom-Com is without Googling it and are still reading, I think we should chat. I also enjoy good dramas with a twist and action movies when they are well done. I am especially drawn to any comic book superhero movies like The Avengers.

Oh yeah, I also love going to live concerts! Saw Pearl Jam for the second time in September and it was awesome! Went to U2 last June, Roger Waters, The Wall Tour recently and just got tickets to see Metric in November.
*NOTE* I am an expert at folding a fitted bed sheet. True story.
I am also training for my first half marathon in September. Always wanted to do one and I'm finally going for it!!
