Was with the same person for most of my adult life. Got blind sided and now find myself working out the single world with very little experience. Attempted POF for a while but have been told that match.com is better for those that are a little more serious about things.
Happily I think I can report that that may be me! It's such a process for a relationship guy to reconfigure himself and head back out there but I think I'm getting my head around it day by day. Ready? think so! guarantee? nope ... can't give that as I've thought that before and been wrong. Takes time.
