A couple of years back I was lucky enough to carry the olympic torch in Ontario. It was the single greatest experience of my life. The immediate connection that I felt to my fellow torchbearers, to Canadians, and to the rest of the world at that moment was incredible. The experience was simply beyond anything that I could have hoped for.
I'm hoping for that same feeling one day in a relationship. I know that's cheesy but it's truly how I feel.
